Hello from Maryland. I hope all is well as can be with everyone, San Diego is around the corner. As of now I plan on attending. I had my annual physical last week which generated referrals to specialists for further tests and evaluations. I can almost hear the cash registers.
I go in for minor surgery on 13 April to remove some left over metal from my 1971 tour of SE Asia. The decision hasn't been made to remove the retained round in the cartilage of my neck. If they decide to operate, I might be in a neck brace for awhile. As time goes by, the indiscretions of youth get even. The body keeps score.
So much for that. Health wise I hope everyone is still standing. I personally feel very blessed. After the reunion I plan on visiting my sister in Silverton, OR, and then up to the Seattle area to visit my two brothers, and some friends.
I don't have much to say about the state of the world economy. I hope everything shakes out eventually. A lot of information is coming out every day to try to explain why, how and what happened. If there was fraud, corruption, or other criminal activity, I hope the punishment is appropriate.
Not much else to report. We are getting much needed rain today. I hope we don't get any severe weather. We are scheduled to get some thunderstorm activity tonight.
