From the Top
Another year rapidly finishing. I turned 75 in November. Seems like that did not take a lot of time off the clock. Like the last two minutes of a pro football game. Bruce Sartwell called to say that he made the "Big 60". A lot of you younger guys have probably made it to that level. Staying busy and healthy makes it enjoyable.
Ray Hulin's passing was not unexpected. He outlived expectations. I cannot say enough about his attitude and zest for life. In short, he was a marvelous human being. I really got to know him through our conversations on the telephone. We talked about living and the Professional Rodeo and Bull Riding Tours. We had a mutual interest in horses. We would watch the PBR on our TV sets and talk about what was going on. Ray would always close our talks by saying "They're not throwing dirt in my face yet." Friend they still Haven' t. Rest easy Raymond You have done well. God Bless you and yours.
At this time I would like to wish all a "Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
God Bless
Take care,
Roy(13 Dec 07)
