This is still the holiday season. It started sometime before the fourth of July and is still going on. Maybe it started when the federal government started adding paid holidays for its employees.
Seriously, this is the season to rejoice our individual accumulated blessings. This the season of family and friends. If you don't have either, go out and meet some new ones.
At this time, Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all members and family of this unit. A lot has happened since we started this "association". We have to look at life with the closeness that we have with each other. For me it continues to be gratifying and really what keeps me a member and not "dropping out".
I noticed one thing this year. It was difficult to find greeting cards that stated "Merry Christmas". I guess the "secular progressives" in the minority, seem to have the loudest voice. This is still a nation "under God". This is why we defend it.
