In 4th DECEMBER at 04 o’clock A.M, the Typhoon just come down to my area. They blow up all over my place and my house, my restaurant. Few days ago, we no electric, no phone . . . so that why I can’t email for you.
The typhoon has done this area serious damage, and my restaurant to be havy damage . . . We will have long time for repair. I don’t know how long we can to activities for merchandising again. The local government they only make empty promises for help.

Typhoon Update December 12th
I want to say many manything with you and all my Ranger comrade, but my level of English is not to good, I cannot to describle all my thinking.
- I want to say thank you, because you still remember us after over 35 years
- I want to say thank you, because you bring to us to feel warm in one's heart with comradeship
- I want to say thank you, because you bring to us happiness by all your letter.
- I want to say thank you, because you prepared to help us when we need for help
- I want to real clear know how about you and your family, what you do? how your health? what they think about us .
- I want to tell you I never forget what you did for me and my people . . . .
- I want to tell you anything what I feel, what I do, what I think about Ranger, about commi, about how we fight for still to be in being to today. . .
We have too many memory for to spin a long yarn, but my English is to poor. When I writing for you or reading the letter of you, I always to need a dictionary (that one cost me long time for writing or reading).
Now, I tell you what! If we are rejected by the HR program, don’t blamed anyone, maybe it is our destiny. But I want all you come to Vietnam to visit us anytime if you can. Are you? Now, we must wait to when the embassy tell me what happen.
Today, we have eclectric again, my restaurant still repairing (I send for you some pictures), and my Big Scout leader call me to ready to go for training camp in highland in next weed. Oh! My God!
Only a few more days till Christmas, so I and my Scout to wish a Merry Christmas to all you and your family. And you don’t forget I always to wait your letter. One letter of you will bring to me too many happiness.
