All my Comrade

40 years past, but look like yesterday. I think back on past events, at that time, I imagine we are side by side, the weapon in hand, gunship up the head and booby trap in the lands. We carefuly step by step to have grope on's trail or muddy or jungle for to try to find out the life and the died.

 

The U.S. Special Force they have a saying:

You have never lived until you have almost died. For those who have fought for it, life has a special flavor the protected will never know.

 

But we are RANGER and we always almost died, therefor from that time, we take shape a friendship, it is call: COMRADE IN ARM. This is a long friendship, from that time to now we never forget.

 

With this friendship, all you tryed to help us many thing after we get in touch, and now  all you try one's best for to get me come to America for to see all you again. With me, it is wonderful friendship and it is big one.

 

I want Jonesy post this mail in web for me can to say THANK YOU for every body, who have to do something for my trip and every body who want to meet me again.

 

I will to see you in United State

All old friend in Company E Ranger (LRRP)

 

I send to all you, the men have to be present at a Reunion (and the men not to be present) my Grateful and my Big Thank. Especially the friends take care for me in Reunion and let me stay with they family. Please to forgive me if I have to do something wrong but I don't know.

 

I just come home at 23.00 of Jun 12 after have long trip. I had a very very nice trip in America like in my dream and with many many good friends. I can't believe is truth, but it is.

 

I wish we have a Reunion in Vietnam for I can to repay to all you for your service. And we can to go to some old battlefield for to remember sometime before.
