Still here ! Seems as if I have missed a few due dates with my news from the "right coast" of the United States of America".
Not much has been happening except for the taxpayer funding of the revovery of the financial and credit markets. (read borrowing and indebtedness) If you think you are flush and pay your obligations, wait until you get this bill added to your account.
The good news here is that everything is growing like "topsy". The farmers and others that grow vegetables have had a bountiful growing season compared to previous years. We have had over 43 inches of precipitation thus far this calendar year. Everything is green and still growing.
I still have good thoughts of the reunion in San Diego. Bob,
Tess and Marshall and all who participated are to be commended. The weather
cooperated and a good time was had by all. I am extremely proud of this unit
and its families. We are all getting long in the tooth and grey around the
edges. There should be a way to continue our legacy after the "last call". That
is approaching
faster than we realize. Just a thought.
