Hilan, What a shock this was in response to my invitation to Leo.
I am responding to a letter my brother, Leo Konovalov, received inviting him to attend the 2007 reunion in Orlando. I am very sorry to report thatLeo passed away on the very date of your letter, February 2nd. He thoughtof his Ranger days and friends very fondly. Perhaps you can remember himat your reunion. He would have liked that very much. We will miss him.
I am in the possession of many of his Vietnam pictures and slides. There is no family to pass these along to, and I wonder if you know of anyplace I could consider donating them in his name?
