Roy and all. . .
I perform my promise, after my Training camp close, me and Bao drive motocycle to Thu Thua (Tan An) this area to close with Bo Bo Canal, we find Kiet, and we get phone number from Kiet and call to Sa (he live in Saigon, but we out of touch him long time ago).
Yesteday, all 4 old mercenary come to my restaurant for meeting. We very and very happy. We talk, we drink and we get drunk. . .
Kiet is very poor, he do some odd jobs like to fix sewing-machine and to sharpen knife . . . After all you go home, he work for Vietnamese govermemt by hamlet chief. Now he want go to US. And he very happy when he hear some people still remember him
Sa is so so, he have a laundry shop in Saigon, he don’t want go to US. But he very happy when he know we finding all old friend in US. And he very happy when he hear some people still remember him too. We send for you some picture of 4 mercenary before and now.
I think I need you may write letter to attest for us and to confirm we get paid by US RANGER and fought side by side with E/75th Ranger from 1967 to 1970, and I think you can do anything if you think is good for us. But, if it get so many difficulty, forget it. We finding and contact with the old friend, that all I need.

It looks like you are right on schedule and that is good. How did Sa and Kiet do after 1975? I enjoyed your photos of the Boy Scouts and your involvement with them. It is a very good organization. Let us know what you need and we will see what we can do. I'm going to contact the 101st with the information you sent and see what I can find out for you. Take care and God Bless you.

As Rangers, we never quit once we start a mission. We will do what ever it takes to get what ever number of our old friends here if they want to come.
If you send me Kiet's full name and address I will write a letter for him just like I did for you and Bao. I mailed the letters for you and Bao a week ago, so you should be getting them soon. Read them and if you want any changes, I'll send you new letters.

I just come back from Thailand yesteday. We have 8 days for learning National Trainer Course (NTC) and we teaching for some body Commissioner Wood Badge (CWB) and 2 days go around in Thailand. That why I don’t send for you any email few days ago.
Now, l send for you some picture of my trip and l hope it will show you something what l doing in Thailand.

Bill Cheek's Big Turtle
Nhan, Damn, now everyone in Thu Thua will think Kiet is the village chief. Take care my friend and lets hope the paperwork for the HR program goes through quickly. I have decided to kill that big turtle the first chance I get. I can't have him eating all my Bass over the winter. I will save the shell to use as a big soup bowl or maybe a light shade. (Roy. We are very healthy). To day we have party for “one month of a grandchildren” of an old friend. He is a PRU too. He have few month go mission with us at Bear Cat in 1967, but he not go to Dong Tam and Tan An.
We no hear anything about coming to the US. And we must wait and wait.
